Criteria for selection of the States are as follows:
a) Those States where Intensive Block Strategy under National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) and National Rural Livelihoods Project (NRLP) is being rolled out and could not be covered in the last round of training undertaken in FY 2017-18. In addition, States having substantial presence of SHGs is also considered.
b) Those States in which the 30-day Certificate Course on Social Accountability and Social Audit have been completed and resource persons to facilitate SHG-VRPs trainings are available. In States where resource persons are yet to undergo 30 day training, Trainers trained by NIRD&PR or trainers from adjoining States may be used for the facilitation of SHG-VRP trainings.
